Adding custom reports to Favorites

By default, you can add reports to the Favorites widget, but not custom reports. To add the favorites functionality to a custom report requires configuration of the custom application to which the reports belong.

  1. In EPM Administration, ensure that your custom application has an Infor EPM OLAP data connection to EPM Business Applications.
    Note: The data connection must have the unique name DEPM.
  2. Ensure that the Infor EPM Global Styles style sheet and the Message Dialog report are in the Application Studio report catalog of your custom application.
    You can do this by exporting the style sheet and dialog report from the business applications application, and importing them to your custom application.
  3. In Application Studio, add these global variables as report parameters:
    • bap_GlobalContextXML
    • bap_Navigation
    • bap_NavigationFavorites
    • bap_NavigationFavoritesAdd
    • bap_NavigationFavoritesQuantity
    Note: If these variables are not present, create them. Although, by default, there are system global variables, the option to add a report parameter is disabled unless you have created at least one global variable.
