Creating a budget reference

A budget reference is a duplicate of a budget version. Unlike a copy of a budget version, a budget reference cannot be edited. A budget reference therefore always has the same status as the version from which you created it.

Budget references are used particularly in rolling forecasts.

To create a budget reference:

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Business Configuration > General Settings > Configuration Set Definition.
  3. Click the budget version to duplicate and select New Budget Reference.
  4. Select the number of references to create.
  5. Specify a name for each reference and click OK.
