Creating a rolling forecast reference version

You can create rolling forecast reference versions based on an existing rolling forecast. A reference version is a duplicate of an existing version.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Business Configuration > Configuration Set-specific Settings > Configuration Set Definition.
  3. Click a completed rolling forecast version and select New Rolling Forecast Reference.
  4. Select the number of reference versions to create.
  5. Specify the name of the version in which to store the data.
  6. Click OK.
    In each reference version that you create, the end date and the number of periods of actual data increase by 1. For example, if the original version has an end date of February 2019 and one period of actual data, then Reference Version 1 has an end date of March 2019 and two periods of actual data.

If no data entry has occurred, you can edit the number of periods of actual data in a reference version. Click the version and select Edit. You cannot edit any other options of a reference version.

To delete a reference version, click the reference version to remove and select Delete.
