Accessing Self-Service in a widget

Self-Service acts as a companion application to other Infor EPM applications.

Self-Service cannot be accessed through the Infor Ming.le application tray. Instead, you access Self-Service through the content connections of applications that are based on the Custom Budgeting and Planning application template.

To access Self-Service, these prerequisites must be met:

  • Self-Service application with the unique name DEPMSESE, has been provisioned for your tenant.
  • A custom application based on the Custom Budgeting and Planning application template has been added to Infor Ming.le.

    The template contains a widget, which can be configured to display custom reports or Self-Service widgets.

  • A content connection for the Self-Service application with the unique name DEPMSESE, has been added to the custom application.

To access Self-Service in the widget:

  1. Add the Custom Budgeting and Planning widget.
  2. Configure the widget with this information:
    Content Connection unique name
    Specify the name of the content connection. For example, DEPMSESE.
    Report or folder unique name
    Specify sbi_StartInInforMingleHomepages.

    The widget displays the Self-Service chart picker report.
