Configuring In-Context BI in Infor Ming.le
This task has these prerequisites:
- Contextual reports, built in Application Studio
- An ERP alongside which to show the reports
- An Infor EPM-based application, with contextual reports, added to Infor Ming.le.
- In Infor Ming.le, select Admin Settings from the User menu.
- Click the Manage Context/Utility Apps tab.
- Click ADD CONTEXT/UTILITY APP.
- Specify this information:
- Type
- Select Context App.
- Name
- Specify a name for the application. For example INFOR ICBI.
- Description
- Specify a description of the application, such as Infor's In-context application.
- URL
- Specify the URL of the dashboard, including the application
name, with the suffix /ICBI. For
example,
https://Infor.com/Dashboards/12.0.8-self-service/ICBI
- Application Help URL
- Optionally, specify the URL from which online help for the application is available.

On the Permissions tab and perform one
of these actions.
Option Description Select Grant access to all users Typically, you grant access to all users Click Add New Users and/or IFS Security Roles Use this option if you need to restrict access to specific users. Search for the user, security role, or logical ID add by specifying user name, role, or ID.
Select the required user, role, or ID in the results and click DONE.
- Click Save and then OK at the confirmation message.

Click the Context
Message tab and click Add Message. Specify inforBusinessContext in the Message Name field.
Note: Do not change this message or specify a different message.
- Click DONE then click Save.
- Click the Applications tab and click Add/Remove Applications.
- In the Available column, select the application to add. Click the arrow to move it to the Selected column and click DONE.
- Select Enabled and click Save.
