Banner widgets
Widgets that are displayed in the banner area at the top of pages are intended
for particularly important or interesting information, such as daily sales
numbers.
When you add a banner widget, the widget catalog shows only those widgets that have been designed to work effectively as banners. Part of that design is to ensure that the color scheme changes to complement the color of the page in which the banner is displayed. Transparent backgrounds are supported.
To add a banner widget, click . The procedure to add banner widgets is then the same as to add other widgets.
Note: The button is displayed only if
at least one banner widget is available and the Banner Widget feature is
enabled.
