Format chart titles

You can specify the font, alignment and position of chart titles and apply various formatting options.

If the chart does not have a title, you can add one in the Chart Options dialog.

1. In Design mode, double-click the chart. A hashed border is displayed.
2. Double-click the chart title, or right-click and select Format Chart Title.

The Format Chart Title dialog has these tabs:

• Pattern
• Font
• Alignment
• Options

On the Options tab you can specify one of these positions for the chart title:

• Top left
• Top center
• Top right

Or, in Design Mode, you can drag the chart title to any required position:

1. In Design Mode, double-click the chart. A hashed border is displayed.
2. Click the chart title. A black square is displayed at each corner of the title.
3. Drag the title to the required position.
