Exporting a report book from API

You can use the application program interface (API) to export report books.

API operations and diagnostic commands allow synchronous or asynchronous export of a report book. For asynchronous export jobs, additional operations are available to query the current status, retrieve the result, or cancel the execution.

You can use the JSON export profile and export report books with API to perform these actions:

Remove reports from existing report books.
Set parameter values. You can decide which elements to print, list of elements or unique names.
