In the Custom Settings widget, you can add,
import, edit, export, and delete custom settings. Settings that you add are available
in Application Studio and Application Engine.

Select the application for which to administer custom settings.
You require Edit permission on the selected application.

Click Add Setting and specify this
information.
- Name
- In the Name column, replace
NewSetting with a name for the
setting.
- Description
- Optionally, specify a description of the
setting.
- Encrypted
- Optionally, select the check box in the Encrypted column. Any value
that you specify in the Value field is represented, by asterisks. You can
click the eye icon to reveal the value.
- Value
- Specify a value for the setting.
- Initial value
- Specify the initial value for the setting.
Note: This
column is displayed only for custom applications.
