Using Infor OS Portal to grant users access to applications

  1. In EPM Administration, create application roles as you require, including global and object permissions.
  2. Create matching security roles.
    Note: For standard applications, such as the business applications, standard roles are typically available. For some applications, standard security roles are automatically available. Refer to the documentation for the specific applications.
  3. In Infor OS Portal, use the Admin settings to ensure that the security roles have access to the Infor OS Portal application.
  4. In EPM Administration, register security roles.
  5. Assign security roles to the matching application role.
  6. In Infor OS Portal, add users to security roles.
