Granting Administrator rights
To make a user an administrator of all applications, and of the repository, assign
the user to the group Administrators.
The Administrators group is assigned to all roles in all applications, and on the repository level.
The standard security role, BI Administrators, is automatically assigned to the Administrators group. See "Users and roles".
To make a user an administrator of a single application, make these assignments:
- Assign the ViewRole to the user in EPM Administration. This enables the user to access the administration dashboards.
- Assign the permissions that the user requires in the applications they are to manage.
- Assign the AdministratorRole in the application if they are to manage permissions and administer the OLAP database.
- Assign the MasterRole in the application if they are to have all permissions.
- Create and assign custom administration roles as you require.
