Workforce Budgeting overview
Budgeting can take place at a position level or an employee level. Workforce costs can be salary expenses, costs that are independent of salary expenses, or costs that are calculated based on other expenses. Workforce Budgeting provides the capability to create or import configurations for custom costs and thus calculate workforce costs.
Additional functionality includes custom step and grade salary tables with the ability to automatically move positions and employees through those salary tables. Allocation of position or employee costs across organizations, segments, and analysis dimensions is supported. You can perform What-if analyses, using the scenario feature, and compare the results with other budget versions.
To provide a complete picture of company costs, summarized details of workforce expenses can be mapped to financial accounts and transferred to the main budget.
To ensure data privacy, the Employee Code
must not be an ID that contains personal data, such as a social insurance number.
