Activating dimensions

Use the Activate Modules page to activate dimensions. This is a one-time task that you must complete before creating your application. You cannot activate or deactivate dimensions after a configuration set has been created.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Global Settings > Activate Modules.
  3. Click the Dimensions tab.
  4. Select the check box for the dimensions to activate.
    Segment dimensions are customer-specific dimensions that you can use to separate business functions. For example, by business areas, products, or customer groups.

    Analysis dimensions are placeholder dimensions that you can use for additional analysis. Analysis dimension 06 is reserved for decision packages and Analysis dimension 12 is reserved for Strategy Management.
