Moving objects

In this section we look at some formatting options.

  1. Open the Tutorial9 report.
  2. Drag the right-hand edge of the Product hyperblock to cell K11.
  3. Move the formulas and objects in these ways:
    • Cut the Deviation formula from F11 and paste it to J11. Format J11 to use the 0.00% number format.
    • Cut the Forecast formula from E11 and paste it to H11.
    • Cut the Budget formula from D11 and paste it to F11.
    • Cut the Actual formula from C11 and paste it to D11.
    • Cut Region: from H6 and paste it to J6.
    • Move the Region combo box to K6 and extend its width to M6.
    • Move the Measure combo box to G6 and extend it to I6.
    • Cut Measure: from B6 and paste it to F6.
    • Move the Period combo box to C6 and extend it to E6.
  4. Right-click J6 and select Format Cells. In the Alignment tab, select Center as the vertical alignment and Right as the horizontal alignment.
  5. Format the Measure label in F6 in the same way, and create and format a Period label in B6.
  6. Move the headings and contents in these ways:
    • Move the Deviation heading to J9.
    • Move the Forecast heading to H9.
    • Move the Budget heading to F9.
    • Move the Actual heading to D9.
    • Move the contents of B9 to C9.
    • Move the label in A9 to B9 and format it so that both the vertical and horizontal alignment are Center.
