Running the Service Expert

Each service must be registered and started after you configure the Infor EPM farm.

You configure the installed services in Service Expert.

Note: When you run Service Expert for the first time, the configuration wizard is displayed. Follow the wizard and configure the farm. If you do not complete the configuration and close the wizard, the farm is only installed but not configured.

When you upgrade your farm, a warning message might be displayed when you run Service Expert for the first time after the upgrade. Click Apply.

Select Start > All Programs > Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management > Service Expert.
The Service Controller and the Configuration Service Worker tabs are displayed even if you are not connected to the farm. To connect to the farm, both services must run.
Select Expert > Connect.
Select the farm to connect to and click Connect.
Select a service to display its configuration.
