Adding dashboard content from a content connection

You can either display content from a content connection full screen or add the widgets from available content connections to your dashboard.

In Edit mode, you can add content to your dashboard.

  1. Tap the Add content icon.
  2. Browse to the widget to add.
    Widgets can display a thumbnail image to help identify them.

    If other users have created content while you have been logged on, swipe down the content connection with your finger to refresh the available content.

  3. To add content to your dashboard, drag and drop the widget where required.
    The preview displays the content type, its name, and its dimensions if it is dropped in the current position. If no preview is displayed, the widget is not added.
    Note: Report designers specify preferred and minimum dimensions. Reports are initially displayed with the preferred width and height, if specified. You can expand the report but cannot reduce it to less than the minimum specified dimensions. This is important when creating resizable dashboards.
