Data connections
Data connections replace database aliases. If database aliases are included, the report import automatically converts them to data connections.
When you create new data connections, Application Studio references the data connections by their unique names. Unique names cannot contain spaces.
When you import database aliases, Application Studio references the migrated data connections by their display names. Display names can contain spaces.
If your Application Studio solution uses global variables to hold the database alias reference for lists and formulas, create data connections and adjust the values of the variables to the unique names of the data connections.
