Infor EPM databases

Several databases are created during the installation. These databases are only supported by Microsoft SQL Server.

These services require a database:

  • Configuration Service
    One database for each farm installation. The database name is BIFarmConfig.
  • Log Service
    One database for each farm installation. The database name is BIFarmLog.
  • Repository Service
    One database for each farm installation. The database name is BIFarmRepository.

Some of the services access business databases. Which business databases are accessed depends on your application's configuration. Such access does not require any specific database drivers to be installed. The only exception is when using OLAP relational Load From Source (LFS) legacy functionality. LFS requires all machines that run OLAP database service to have the corresponding provider-specific ODBC driver installed.
