Client authentication options

Select an authentication to access the client applications such as Application Studio. The client access options depend on the selected web authentication options.

Select one of these options:

• Basic

  When using Basic authentication in the web, the client applications can use only Basic security.

• LDAP

  When using LDAP authentication in the web, the client applications can use only LDAP security.

• IFS

  When using IFS authentication in the web, the client application can use either Basic authentication or IFS authentication. Windows authentication can be used through using ADFS in IFS. When using IFS authentication in client applications, you must configure ION API.
