Configuring ImportMaster and IFS

ImportMaster does not support IFS. Therefore, ImportMaster cannot connect to the Infor EPM using the IFS authentication. To use ImportMaster while working with the IFS configuration, you must enable the basic authentication for client access security in the Service Expert.

ImportMaster uses only basic authentication to connect to the OLAP Service Manager's API port.

  1. Start the Service Expert and click the Global security tab.
  2. In the Security section, select Infor Federation Services for Web access security.
  3. Optionally, select the Use SSL/TLS encryption check box.
    If you select this check box, a master certificate is required.
  4. For Client access security, select Basic.
  5. Click Apply.
