Initial implementation

Before you begin implementing BOD integration:

  • All Infor software must be installed.
  • Create the Infor Business Vault Base Data Store.
  • Configure the Infor source system to publish BODs to its ION outbox.

This is the general flow for implementing:

  1. Create ION connection points to the Infor source system (such as Lawson S3) and to the Business Vault.
  2. Define ION document flows between the Infor source system and the Business Vault connection points.
  3. The Infor source system publishes BODs with initial loads of financial structure and financial data to the Base Data Store.
  4. To transfer data into Infor EPM, follow the instructions in the Infor Enterprise Performance Management Base Data Store Data Integration Guide.
