Creating a custom report
When you build custom reports that will be used as widgets on dashboards, you must make sure the custom widgets communicate well with standard widgets. This is achieved by using report parameters for widget communication.
- Start Application Studio.
- Go to .
- Right-click the report and select .
- Right-click the folder where you want to copy the report and select .

. Optionally, change the unique name.

Finance - Open the report in Design Mode.
- Customize the report as desired.
- Right-click the report and select .
- Specify the parameters to use. The important parameters are part of the template are therefore already prepared. Optionally, you can set additional parameters on report load. For example, setting a certain variable which is special to your report.
- Click .
- Right-click the report and select .
- Exit Application Studio.
