Adding Samples to Infor Ming.le

The Samples application can be enabled in on-premises environments. The Samples application is not available in the Infor cloud.

  1. Log on as Administrator to Infor Ming.le.
  2. Click the User Menu icon and select Admin Settings .
  3. Click ADD APPLICATION.
  4. Specify the information in this table:

    Application Type Infor Non-provisioned Select Infor Non-provisioned application type from the list.
    Application Name

    Samples 12.X.X

    		Select the latest available version of the Samples application that matches the version of your farm installation.
    Display Name Samples Specify the application name to display in the Infor Ming.le application tray. You can specify a name or keep the default.
    Application Icon

    		Click Choose Icon and select any of the available icons.
    Logical ID lid://infor. bestpractices-bi.123 The field is pre-filled with this partial Logical ID (LID): lid://infor. bestpractices-bi.. Specify a suffix to complete the LID. The suffix identifies the instance of the application.

    The LID is a unique identifier for an endpoint in an application instance. The LID is crucial for Infor Ming.le-internal management, but also for functions such as drillback and sharing of page links. The instance name must be lowercase.
    Use HTTPS true Select Use HTTPS if the application is configured to use https. https is always required if IFS is used.
    Host Name infor.com Specify the address of the server that hosts your application.
    Port 9205 Specify the Dashboards Manager port. The default for http and for https is 9205.
    Note: Although the Port field in Infor Ming.le is not mandatory, a port is required for all Infor EPM applications.
    Context Leave this field blank. The unique name of the application is already hard-coded in the template.
    Default Tenant Leave blank.
  5. Click Save.
