Farm settings
To use the Farm Settings dashboard, you must be a member of the Audit Administrator repository role. Select
.In the Farm Settings dashboard, you can administer these farm-wide settings:
- Audit Storage
If auditing is required, you must activate the storage setting of the system/security audit logs or the application audit logs, or both. Those logs are always saved in files. You are responsible for managing the audit files.
Note: After you activate and save the audit storage setting, you cannot deactivate it. To stop auditing, you must switch off the audit events. - Monitoring
Farm monitoring is on by default. If needed, you can switch it off. Switching off monitoring stops monitoring of all services in a farm.
Monitoring metrics can be provided through an
http
endpoint, which can be used by tools such as Prometheus. See https://www.tigera.io/learn/guides/prometheus-monitoring/. - System Log
The log service is on by default. You can switch it off if, for example, you have issues with the log database.
The Sumo option is not applicable to the on-premises environments.
