Farm administration

The Services dashboard has four widgets in which you view and administer the properties of the machines, services, managers, and workers in the farm.

To populate the four widgets, you must either select a machine in the Machines widget or, select a service in the Services widget. A fifth widget shows the status of a selected machine, manager, or worker.

Select Dashboards > Farm Administration > Services.

Each row of the Managers and Workers widgets indicates whether the item on the row is online or offline.

Except for the Status of [machine],[worker],[manager] widget, each item in each widget has a Properties or Settings icon. Click the icon to access the properties or settings of the item.

In the Machines, Managers and Workers widgets you can apply a filter to restrict the data that is displayed. For example, display only machines with names beginning WIN. Click the gear icon and select Filters.

By default, the Workers widget displays only static workers. Optionally, select Show dynamic workers. If selected, this option increases the load time of the widget.

To select which columns to display in each widget, click the settings icon in a column heading and select Columns.

This table shows the columns that are displayed or available in each widget:

The label of the widget, and the information it shows, depends on whether a machine, manager, or worker is selected in the other widgets. For machines and managers, the widget has only a Performance tab. For workers, there is also an Activated Tenants tab and a Sessions tab.

To unload an activated tenant, select the tenant and click Unload Tenant. This unloads the repository and deactivates the tenant.

To disconnect all sessions of an activated tenant, select the tenant and click Disconnect All Sessions. On the Sessions tab, you can select and disconnect individual sessions.

For machines, managers, and workers, the Performance tab shows the version and build, and the last state change. For machines, the tab displays information about memory use and disk space. For workers, the tab shows memory and CPU usage. The Activated Tenants tab shows the lifetime of the worker and in hours and days, and whether it is primary.
