Basic navigation

The application interface consists of the main area, where you display your dashboard, the application toolbar, and the side menu. The toolbar provides basic options such as adding to favorites and refreshing. It also contains the Actions menu. The icons displayed on the toolbar depend on available space on a device.

This table shows the icons that you use to perform various actions when you work with dashboards:

Icon	Description
Side menu	Access the menu that contains these tabs: Recently Opened, Favorites, Dashboards, Content connection, Offline views, Widget copies, and Settings.
Recently Opened	Recently Opened tab. Access recently opened content.
Favorites	Favorites tab. Access content flagged as favorites.
Dashboards	Dashboards tab. Access and open your dashboards.
Application Studio Service	Access the Application Studio Service content connection that contains the Application Studio Service widgets.
Administration Service	Access the Administration Service content connection that contains the Administration Service widgets.
Modeling Service	Access the Modeling Service content connection that contains the Modeling Service widgets.
Actions	Actions menu. The actions that are available depend on whether you are viewing or editing content.
Edit	Edit the content.
Properties	Access the properties.
New folder	Create a folder.
Move	Move the content to another folder.
Remove	Remove the content.
Refresh	Reload the content.
Add to Favorites	Add content to favorites.
Export servers	Export the server list.
