Prerequisite knowledge

This guide explains the flows of data between a source system and Infor Enterprise Performance Management when you integrate the two systems.

Each data integration project requires deep knowledge of the source and target systems. You must have a good understanding of the Infor EPM architecture and schema objects such as dimensions, hierarchies, elements, attributes, cubes, and dynamic attributes.

For data acquisition in a multi-tenant deployment, the existing Infor Data Lake queries may require tenant-specific modifications. A working knowledge of the ION Compass query syntax is required to use it correctly and troubleshoot efficiently. Compass querying is available with Data Lake, which is part of Infor OS.

Note: Compass is the Infor OS component that is required by relational modeling to run load queries in the Infor EPM cloud environments.
