Data load from the source system into Data Lake

After you do the initial setup, ensure that data from the source system is loaded into Data Lake.

Data Lake is a central storage for all data types and formats.

In Infor ION you can set up ION Connection Points and load data from multiple sources into Data Lake with any of these functions:

• ION Messaging Service (IMS): Integrates applications to ION. This is the preferred function since Infor OS 12.0.9.
• AnySQL: Connects ION directly to a customer database.
• File Connector: Enables data load from an on-premises database into Data Lake, for example, Enterprise Connector.
