Approving or rejecting tasks

If you are assigned as an approver, you can approve or reject a task, and, if the Enable Modifications option is enabled, enter adjustments.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Click Tasks and select a task.
  3. Select one of these options.
    Option Description
    Approve Approve one or more tasks.
    Reject Reject one or more tasks. The task is rejected and appears in the Rejected category on the Tasks page.
    Reject to Planner Reject the task and send it back to the planner, at the base organization level.
    Decline Declines the task. It becomes read-only and cannot be resubmitted. The corresponding task appears in the Declined category on the Tasks page.
    If Hierarchical approval is enabled and more than one organization is assigned to you, you can approve or reject multiple tasks at once.
