Ranked decision packages

Optionally, each step within a decision package can be flagged as Ranked. Ranked decision packages are displayed in a separate group on the Tasks page of the responsible approver. Typically, only decision packages that require special consideration are flagged as Ranked. Ranking enables an approver to assess multiple decision packages at once, with reference to a budget value that the approver specifies. Click a ranked decision package in the tasks list to display the Decision Package Ranking page.

The Decision Package Ranking page lists all ranked decision packages that were created from the same decision package workbook.

Specify the available funds for each year of the configuration set and then select the Approve check box of a decision package to view the impact of that package on the available funds and the remaining available funds.
Note: Approval is not submitted unless you click Confirm.

Decision packages are listed in the order in which they were submitted. If there are multiple decision packages within the workbook, you can reorder them to provide a visual indication of their relative importance. Specify an order number and press Enter. The remaining packages are reordered automatically.

Select the Approve check box of each decision package to approve and click Confirm.
