Specifying command texts, command images, and separators in action menus

Some action modes display a shortcut menu when the action is triggered. The type of action determines what texts can be displayed in the menu. For example, if used with a jump action, the Shortcut menu on left-click mode can display a report name, a user-defined string, or the result of a formula, such as a reference to a variable.

You can assign a shared image to a menu item, and you can group menu items by adding separators.

To specify the text of a menu item, select an option in the Value field of the Command Text input in the Edit Action dialog box.

To display a separator, select Separator in the Value field. All other action inputs are disabled. In View mode, the menu displays a horizontal line as a separator.

To specify an image for a menu icon, select an option in the Value field of the Command Image input in the Edit Action dialog box. You can reference an image by name, or with a formula.
