Specifying logging options

Logging of errors is enabled by default. You can disable logging or change the level at which events are logged. You can specify where logs are stored, and how many client sessions to log.

Events can be logged at one of these levels:

  • Critical
  • Error
  • Warning
  • Information
  • Debug

By default, logs are stored in ..\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Infor\Logs.

  1. Select Extras > Settings.
  2. Select Logs.
  3. Optionally, browse to the folder in which to save logs and click OK.
  4. Optionally, select the level at which to log events.
  5. Optionally, specify the maximum number of log files to store.
    A log is created for each session: that is, each time you start the application. Logs are text files named ApplicationStudio_, followed by a numeric suffix.
