Managing languages

You can add languages to an application and make a language the default for that application. A language cannot be made the default unless all the strings in the language have a translation.

When you add languages, you can add them with or without their country specification. For example, add Afrikaans (South Africa) (af-ZA) or add Afrikaans (af).

You can edit the values of languages only in custom applications. Editing the values is not possible in Infor-owned applications.

  1. Select Dashboards > Applications Administration > Language Settings.
  2. Select the application in which to manage languages.
  3. Perform one of these tasks:.
