Loading data checklist

This checklist describes the tasks involved in loading data:
Component Task

  • Backup the Designer and OLAP databases.
  • Prepare the source data using SQL scripts or CSV files.
  • Load the source system data to the staging tables using scripts.
Infor EPM business applications Complete these tasks:
  • Select the configuration set and version.
  • Validate the staged data before import.
Designer Complete these tasks:
  • Import dimension structures to the Designer database.
  • Recreate the OLAP database.
  • Import cube data into the OLAP database.
Infor EPM business applications Optionally, complete these tasks:
  • Calculate the imported data.
  • Verify the imported data.
