Adding Self-Service to Infor Ming.le

In the Infor cloud, Self-Service is provisioned only on request. In that case, its configuration in Infor Ming.le is done for you. On-premises, these are the steps to add Self-Service to Infor Ming.le.
Note:  Self-Service is not a stand-alone application with a separate icon in Infor Ming.le. In the cloud, Self-Service is a set of dashboard and widgets that you must connect to from a custom application, by creating a content connection. You then import the dashboards.
  1. Log on as Administrator to Infor Ming.le.
  2. Click the User Menu icon and select Admin Settings .
  3. Click ADD APPLICATION.
  4. Specify this information:
    Application Type
    Select Infor Non-provisioned.
    Application Name
    Select Custom Budgeting and Planning.
    Display Name
Specify the application name to display in the Infor Ming.le application tray.
    Application Icon
Click Choose Icon and select an icon.
    Logical ID
The field is pre-filled with this partial Logical ID (LID): lid://infor.custom-depm. Specify a suffix to complete the LID. For example, specify 1 for the first instance of the application. The suffix identifies the instance of the application.

The LID is a unique identifier for an endpoint in an application instance. The LID is crucial for Infor Ming.le-internal management, but also for functions such as drillback and sharing of page links. The instance name must be lowercase.

    Use HTTPS
Switch on this option if the application is configured to use https. https is always required if IFS is used.
    Host Name
Specify the host name given in the information from the Infor Ming.le tab in EPM Administration.
    Port
Specify the port number given in the information from the Infor Ming.le tab in EPM Administration.
    Context
Specify the context given in the information from the Infor Ming.le tab in EPM Administration.

    • BI-Viewers
  6. From the App Menu, select the new application.
  7. Click the Settings icon and select Content Connections.
  8. Click the Create icon and select Application Studio Service.
