Enabling dimension access control

  1. Select Dashboards > OLAP > Edit Database.
  2. In the Database Structure widget, select the database to administer.
  3. Expand the Dimensions node and select the dimension for which to create a DAC cube.
  4. Select Enable Dimension Access Control in the Security section of the Properties tab.
  5. Click Create New Cube.
  6. Accept the suggested cube name and caption for the DAC cube, or specify a name and caption. Optionally, specify a description.
    By default, the name of a DAC cube is the name of the selected dimension, prefixed by the # symbol.
  7. Click Create.
  8. Specify permissions for the cube in the Manage Permissions dashboard.
