Settings

OLAP database settings are no longer stored in the DB.ini file. The settings are stored in the Configuration database. This is an overview of the settings where the behavior has changed:
  • Default settings

You can no longer change the settings for all databases at once. Each database has its own settings which are stored to the Configuration database, per database.

  • Repository

This setting is obsolete as only one repository exists per tenant or farm.

  • Project, OLAP Permission Management

These settings are obsolete because an OLAP database always belongs to an application. The application contains one set of OLAP roles.

  • Changelog version

Always the highest version is used in Changelog.

  • Load cubes

It is currently not possible to configure the cubes that should be loaded when starting the database.
