Application roles
In Infor EPM, the permissions for
OLAP, reports, dashboards, and projects, are
grouped under a single role called Application Role. In Repository Administration version 11.0, roles were created and defined separately
for each project, report catalog, dashboard catalog, and OLAP Permission Management.
Typically, the roles in the Infor BI 11.0 repository will
not match the application roles concept of Infor EPM
12.0.x.
The recommended migration procedure is to design new application roles in Infor EPM 12.0.x, to provide the needed permission per business role of an application. Select to create application roles and design their global permissions.
You can use Application Engine processes for bulk-creation of application roles, including assignments to users and user groups.
