Examples of session time-outs
This table shows examples of different session time-outs:

| Calling a process from Application Studio report | Processes are called synchronously. First, the ELB times out, then the Infor Ming.le or browser sessions time out. |
| Full clients, Application Studio client | In on-premises environments, the keep-alive behavior ensures that the session
is active all the time. In cloud environments Application Studio connects through ION API. Therefore, the first time-out is the ELB. Then, the operation time-out which is affected by transaction API time-out of the Repository Service. |
| Calling a process with ION API synchronously | In on-premises environments, the operation times out. In cloud environments, the first time-out is the ELB (30 minutes), then the operation time-out (2 hours). |
| Calling a process with ION API asynchronously | In on-premises and cloud environments, the operation times out (2 hours). |
