Configuring ImportMaster

Ensure that the farm is running before you begin this task.

  1. Start ImportMaster.
  2. Select File > New.
  3. In the right-hand pane of the New import definition tab, right-click Multidimensional Databases and select New multidimensional Database.
  4. Select Infor EPM 12.0 upwards as the database driver and click Next.
  5. Specify a database alias name and click Connect.
  6. In the Server fields, select Http or Https as appropriate and specify the name of the server on which ImportMaster is installed.
    Select https if you are using SSL/TLS encryption. Select http is you are not using SSL/TLS encryption.
  7. Specify the number of the API port.
    To find the API port number, click OLAP Service Manager in Service Expert.
  8. Optionally, select the Use OAuth check box.
  9. Specify the username and password to connect to Infor EPM and click Next.
  10. Select the Infor EPM server and click Next.
  11. Optionally, specify extended properties, in XML format, to provide additional information about the database.
  12. Click Finish.
