Uninstalling Infor EPM

If some or all services on the machine from which you are uninstalling Infor EPM are part of a farm, you must unregister them from the farm before uninstalling the software. You can unregister a service in the Service Expert. Click the tabs for the service workers and managers to remove and click the Unregister button. You can also unregister services in EPM Administration. Select Dashboards > Farm Administration > Services.
Caution:
Completing these steps removes all data.
  1. Use the Service Expert to stop the Service Controller.
  2. Use Control Panel to uninstall the Infor EPM software.
Select Infor EPM services to uninstall everything. Click Change. The Setup_dEPM_Services.exe file is started. Click Next and select the Uninstall option.
You also can uninstall services individually. In this case, ensure that the Setup_Farm_Tools.exe file is uninstalled last as it is required for uninstalling other services.
  3. Delete all configuration files in the Program folder. The default folder is Program Files\Infor\BI.
  4. Delete the OLAP databases. For example, the Samples database.
  5. Use Control Panel to delete the certificates.
Select Manage user certificates and Manage computer certificates. Delete all certificates issued by BIFrameworkCertificate in both the Personal and Trusted Root Certification folders.
  6. Use Microsoft SQL Management Tools to delete the farm databases.
Note: Deleting the repository database deletes all your Infor EPM applications and customizations, such as reports, dashboards, and so on.
  7. Restart the server.
