Posting a recurring journal

  1. Access the recurring journal list.
  2. Click Execute.
  3. In the Execute Recurring Journal(s) window, select these criteria for the recurring journals to post:
    • Journal type

      If you are both an entity accountant and a group accountant, you can select either recurring entity journals or recurring group journals. If you have only one of these roles, the corresponding recurring journal type is displayed.

    • Period

      The period or periods that you selected during creation of the recurring journal list are displayed. You can change them. You can post only the periods with a status of Open.

    • Version

      The version that you selected during the creation of the recurring journal list is displayed. You can change it.

    • Entity

      The entity or entities that you selected during creation of the recurring journal list are displayed. You can change them.

  4. Click Execute.
    All recurring journals that meet the selected criteria are posted and displayed on the Journal List page with the Posted status. The generated recurring journal IDs are displayed in the Description column.
    Note: If you selected any journals in the Recurring Journal List table before posting them, then this selection is ignored during the posting. Only the journals that meet the selected criteria are posted.
