This topic describes the user interface elements of Excel Integration.

Each time you launch the add-in, it is displayed on the Home tab at the right of the ribbon. You can customize the ribbon and change the position of the add-in.

This table shows the buttons and icons that you use within the add-in:

Convert slice to cell-based icon Convert an ad-hoc slice report to a cell-based report based on the INFOR.READ.VALUE or INFOR.GET.VALUE formula. The active cell must be within the report area.

Switch option icon Access the switch option.
Horizontal vertical icon Switch between vertical and horizontal element formula generation.
Read-only formula icon Write formula icon Select between read-only and read and write formula generation
Cell reference icon Reference a cell
Autofill icon Select all default hierarchies of unused dimensions in the Filters section of an ad-hoc report.

Unused dimensions are those from which you have not manually selected any hierarchies for filters, columns, and rows.

Edit icon Edit filters, columns, and rows in an ad-hoc report.
Delete icon Remove a selected hierarchy or selected elements from an ad-hoc report.
Display format icon Select a display format for a list of elements or for a resulting formula.
Element visibility icon Select which elements from a list of elements are visible.
Zero suppression icon Enable zero suppression on ad-hoc report rows, columns, or on both. Any row or column that contains only zero values is hidden. If the row or column contains at least one non-zero value, the zero values in that row or column are still displayed.
Search icon Perform a search.
More icon Open a list with options.
Break hierarchy icon In an ad-hoc report, enable break hierarchy on the selected elements within a hierarchy. If enabled, the selected elements are displayed in the report in the same order as in the Selections section.
Indent icon In an ad-hoc report, enable element indentation on the selected elements. If enabled, the selected elements are indented in the report based on their level within a hierarchy.
Show Navigation icon Expand a pane with data source options.
Collapse icon Collapse a pane with data source options.
