Defining the document flow

Every flow in the modeling canvas has a start and an end. For a new document flow, only the start and end are shown.

To add items to the document flow:

  1. In ION Desk, select Connect > Model > Document flows.
  2. Select the application icon in the toolbox.
  3. Click the line where the application must be added. Alternatively, drag the item from the toolbox to the line where it must be added.
    An Activity check box is added.
  4. Click the Activity check box to view or change the properties in the Activity Task pane.
  5. Click Add to add a connection point to the activity.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 to add another application and its connection point to the flow.
  7. Click the document icon between the applications to define the documents that flow from the first application to the second application
  8. Save the document flow.

To delete an item, right-click it and click Delete.
