Tasks page

You can access the Tasks page from the Home page. The Tasks page is available for all application users if Budgeting and Planning module is activated. The Tasks page shows you details of tasks that are summarized on the Home page. You can access the Tasks page from the Application menu, or by clicking in one of the Tasks panes on the Home page.

The Tasks page lists all tasks that are assigned to you or your group. By default, all tasks are displayed. You can use these filters:

  • The Tasks page context

    By default, All Configuration sets, All Versions, and All Entities are selected. You can select a different configuration set, version, and entity on the top of the Tasks page.

  • Task status

    To filter by status, select any of these statuses: Open, Submitted, Rejected, Declined, Approved, or Unsubmitted.

  • Due dates

    To display tasks that are near their due date or that are overdue, select Near Due or Over Due.

  • Personal and group tasks

    To display tasks that are assigned to you or to any of your groups, select either Personal Tasks or Group Tasks.

    By default, both personal and group tasks are displayed.

    For group tasks, the first user who opens the task, becomes the task owner. If the Take Over feature is enabled in workflow configuration, another user from that group can take over and open the related task.
    Caution: 
    Using the Take Over feature might result in data loss when multiple users edit the task at the same time.
  • Modules

    To filter by module, select the module, for example, Finance, Decision Package, or, for applications that are based on Designer and Sales.

    By default, tasks from all modules are displayed.

If a workflow is reset, then related tasks have the Workflow Reset indicator. When you open such a task, the comment with the reason for the reset is displayed in the Overview tab.
