Modifying organizations and accounts through a CSV file

  1. Open the CSV file that contains the financial planning step configuration.
  2. Ensure that column A represents organizations' IDs.
    Leave the first two rows blank. Specify the organizations starting with the third row.
  3. Optionally, in column B, specify a description for the organizations.

    You can add a description for your reference. When you import a hierarchical configuration from the CSV file, the content of this column is not imported.

  4. All other columns represent accounts.
    The first row represents the account ID. The account ID must match the ID that is used in the database. The second row is the account description.
  5. For each combination of organization and account, specify one of these options:
    Option Description
    1 Indicates that the account and organization are active.
    0 Indicates that the account and organization are inactive.
  6. Save the configuration file.
