Copying actual data between configuration sets

Copying actual data from one configuration set to another removes the existing actual data in the target configuration set. After the existing actual data is removed, all actual values from the source are copied to the target configuration set.

You can only copy actual data between configuration sets when it is selected in both, target and source configuration sets. In all other cases, copying of actual data from one configuration set to another is not possible.

  1. Click Home.
  2. Select Application Configuration > Configuration Set-specific Settings > Data Transfer > Global Processes.
  3. Select the source configuration set and version.
Note: Select the empty source configuration set to remove all actual values in the target configuration set.
  4. Select the target configuration set and version.
  5. Click Initiate Transfer.

    This data is copied:

    • Balance sheet
    • Profit and loss
    • Exchange rate
    • Cash flow
    • Configuration data including translation methods

Movements are copied one to one.

Opening balances are copied for the first year where actuals are available. The remaining opening balances are calculated by a rule.
