Commenting the workflow

If the Overview tab is enabled in the workbook, the approver can add comments and attachments. Comments and attachments are then accessible from the Overview tab for the finance workbook.

Comments and attachments are time-stamped. The Overview tab shows the corresponding planning stage and step to which the comment or attachment was added, and the user name.

  1. Click the Overview tab.
  2. Specify a comment and click Save.
  3. Click Add attachment.
    1. Browse to the file to attach and select it.
    2. Click Open.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Optionally, click the Comment column to add a comment for the attachment.
To delete a comment or an attachment, click the Delete icon.
