Specifying the language

The language of the user interface and the language of reports need not be the same. The report names and those of the objects and text used in them are saved in a language table. The language table contains a column into which you can insert translations.

You edit texts, folder names, and report names in the Edit Names and Texts dialog .

Specify the user interface language and the report language in the Language dialog:

Select Extras > Language Settings and select the report language from the Report Language list.

Select the user interface language from the User Interface Language list.

Note: If you change the selected language, the report is recalculated.

If you have used custom lists in any hyperblocks or combo boxes in the report, the list contents do not automatically change to the new language.
