Packaging reports for an Infor EPM application

You can export customized or new reports to extend or change an existing application that is running inInfor EPM.

  1. In the report catalog, right-click the application to package and select Export/Import > Export Application Component.
  2. Optionally, select the .export_profile file of a previous export.
    This pre-selects objects for the current export.
  3. Select the report books to export.
  4. Select the reports to export.
    Reports that are part of the selected report books are automatically selected and cannot be deselected.
  5. Select the report templates to export.
  6. Select the style sheets to export.
    Style sheets that are used by the selected reports are automatically selected and cannot be deselected.
  7. Select the calculations to export.
    Optionally, to show only calculations of aliases that are used in the selected reports, click Show Used Aliases Only.
  8. Optionally, In the Web Extensions step of the wizard, click Show Only Used Web Extensions.
    This step of the wizard is informational. It indicates which web extensions are trusted and can be imported into Infor Cloud. All web extensions that are used by the selected reports are included in the export.
  9. Select the languages for which to export translated text.
  10. Specify the application settings to export.
    You can override the behavior of some application settings in individual reports. For example, you can globally specify the Immediate Writeback option to FALSE but specify TRUE on some reports. Report-specific settings are automatically exported with the individual reports.
    We recommend that you include all settings. That ensures that the reports inherit the same application settings and behave in the same way.
  11. Select the application roles to export.
    You cannot select or deselect the built-in roles.
  12. Select the destination for the export.
    By default, the options to save the export profile to a file for future use is selected. By default, profiles are saved to the same destination as the exported component. Optionally, clear the option to save the profile. Otherwise, click Save export profile.
